Five kilns. Five expressions of Song beauty.

Inspired by the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty — Ru (汝), Guan (官), Ge (哥), Jun (钧), and Ding (定) — this collection brings together five distinct ceramic traditions in one carefully curated tea set.

The Song Dynasty is often remembered as one of the defining eras of Chinese ceramic art. Rather than relying on elaborate decoration, Song ceramics found beauty in form, glaze, texture, and restraint — an aesthetic where subtle differences mattered.

Each cup in this collection reflects the character of a different kiln tradition.

Known for its quiet blue-green glaze, Ru ware is celebrated for a softness often compared to the color of the sky after rain. The gently curved form and subtle crackle-like texture give this cup a sense of calm and stillness.

Inspired by Guan ware, this cup takes the form of a blooming lily. Its pale, understated glaze reflects the restrained elegance associated with imperial Song ceramics.

The softly shaped rim recalls the petals of a mallow flower. Inspired by the distinctive crackled surfaces associated with Ge ware, the glaze becomes part of the decoration itself — quiet, irregular, and unique.

Jun ware is known for some of the most expressive colors among Song ceramics. Rich blue and violet tones flow across the surface, giving each view a sense of depth and movement.

Inspired by Ding ware, this white porcelain cup features a refined lotus motif. Clean, luminous, and delicately formed, it reflects an elegance built not on excess, but on precision.

Together, the five cups tell five different stories of Song ceramic beauty:

汝之静 · 官之雅 · 哥之纹 · 钧之色 · 定之净

The serenity of Ru. The elegance of Guan. The texture of Ge. The color of Jun. The purity of Ding.

More than a tea set, this collection is an invitation to experience five traditions that helped shape the language of Chinese ceramics — through objects made to be held, used, and appreciated in everyday life.

Ancient forms. Modern life.
